Martha was the donor's grandmother.William Course was an original settler in 6the area arriving in the area in1859. Martha was the 11th of 12 children. the boys of the family all worked at Geal Bros. potteries.A tin containing hand written recipes and two phials of junket tablets and Boracic acid label. Tin has a yellow background with flowers in purple and green leaves around all four sides.The top has a frame of flowers with a scene in the middle of a large building with trees around it. Black fragile small thin notebook of handwritten recipes belonging to Lucy Sebire in the late 1800's. The covers are very worn and the pages are torn, faded stained and heavily tanned. It is tied together with string at the top left hand corner. Inside the front cover is a calendar printed for 1889 and 1890. They were originally made at the Commonwealth Aircraft Factory after the war to use the facilities available.Namco Pressure Cooker - a large heavy aluminium saucepan with a close fitting lid which seals on a rubber ring (missing). The lid is locked in place by wide interlocking lugs on the saucepan and the lid. It has a gauge to indicate pressure and a lever and seal system on the lid which locks into safety lock. The safety lock includes a stem release hole in which a small round plug is inserted. The pressure can be adjusted. Also included is a lead safety plug to release the steam if it overheats.
