In 1933 after a 15 years absence from manufacturing Tarax once again hit the milk bars and cafes with George Pethard Junior brewing and bottling in non alcoholic ales and beers in Mildura and distributing throughout Victoria. Tarax was listed on the stock exchange in 1959 and was taken over by Cadbury Schweppes in 1972.
