Around 1987 to 1988, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) conducted an Exercise and Arthritis Training Course designed specifically to train volunteer members as Fitness Leaders. This photo depicts Stan Lacey, a registered AFV Fitness Leader who runs exercise classes at his workplace, attending the Fitness Leaders' training course with others at the AFV’s headquarters at Action House. On the 17th of June, 1988, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) conducted an Arthritis Self Help Course in Warrnambool to train its regional members as volunteer Fitness Leaders.
