In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) held a "Warm Up For Winter Dance" as a fundraising event during National Arthritis Week. The dance, which was held at the San Remo Ballroom, had a multicultural theme and featured performances by professional dancers and dance troupes. TThe touching finale was "We'll not break faith", a massed item presented by Junior Legatees from all classes, with the band in the background under a large Legacy sign. The photo was featured in the December 1958 newsletter. Acts included combined boys' vaulting item, the Dances of Spain (Fiesta Flamenco), the Western Symphony by the senior girls. Throughout the year Melbourne Legacy provided classes for Junior Legatees such as dancing, gymnastics and Eurythmics. The Demonstration was an annual event to showcase their skills. Melbourne Legacy conducted Annual Demonstrations / Parades from 1928 through to 1979, usually held at Melbourne Town Hall. The beautiful costumes were made by members of the Junior Legacy Mothers' Club and the Melbourne Legacy Wives' Association.A record of the displays at the Annual Demonstrations.
