Historical information
In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) held a "Warm Up For Winter Dance" as a fundraising event during National Arthritis Week. The dance, which was held at the San Remo Ballroom, had a multicultural theme and featured performances by professional dancers and dance troupes. This photo depicts two flamenco dancers from the Sol Y Sombra flamenco dancing troupe performing on the dance floor during the event. Some photos from the event appear on page 3 of the Autumn 1994 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria’s quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update, as part of a National Arthritis Week (NAW) feature.
