Jane Craine, née Shimmins, migrated to Victoria with her husband William Craine in 1862/63. Jane's and William's seven children were all born in Linton. After her husband's death in 1908, Jane and her daughter Lottie ran a small confectionery shop at what is now 81 Sussex Street.Enlarged black and white copy of original photograph. Photograph shows an older woman wearing a striped blouse and a long, dark skirt. She has her hands folded across her waist.
