Mabel May Roberts was born in October 1880 to parents Digory Pendray Roberts and Elizabeth Gellatly Roberts (née Allen). She was one of sixteen children. This copy of the photograph was donated in 2014 by Peter Stapleton, who understood it may have been taken around 1921.
