"The verandah was classified by the National Trust and in consequence was granted demolition exemption by the Bendigo City Council. In the view of the Trust the discarding of the verandah has been inopportune and unfortunate". 3097.15B 6/10/1972 National Trust letter to the licensee of the Queen's Arms Hotel noting the Hotel is not classified by the Trust, so we do not have an immediate interest.
