It is understood that this receipt book came into the LDHS collection via PROV-Place of Deposit arrangements, but it is not clear when this happened. Two other Library receipt books were donated by Golden Plains Shire in 2017 as part of PROV-POD arrangements. Receipts numbered 1-27 record monies collected by the librarian, Mrs. Howard (for subscriptions etc) paid over to the Library honorary secretary, R. W. Leask. Receipts numbered 28-39 record monies collected by Mrs. Howard and paid into a bank account.
