In 1998, during VicHealth's Healthy Parliament Week, Hansard staff at the Victorian Parliament took part in the 'Fit for Office' Stretch Break promotion. This photo appears on page 17 of the Vol 11 Issue 4, Summer 1998 edition of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. In 1998, Arthritis Victoria (AV) conducted a Half-Day Seminar for Sports & Arts Groups. The seminar, which was sponsored by the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth), was held at AV's headquarters in Elsternwick. Attending were representatives from Table Tennis Victoria, Badminton Victoria, the Victorian Croquet Association, the Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria, and VicHealth. In 1999, as part of the VicHealth sponsorship programs, Arthritis Victoria partnered with the Ethnic Communities' Council of Victoria (ECCV) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) to promote the 'Active for Life' message through various sports and arts groups. In this photo, Middle-Eastern music and dance troupe, Yalla, are depicted performing at the Frankston Multicultural Variety Concert in July 1999 as part of a series of concerts. This photo appears on page 23 of the Arthritis Victoria (inc Osteoporosis Victoria) 1999 Annual Report under the heading, "VicHealth Sponsorship Programs". In October 1994, members of the Joint Action Group (JAG) from the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) gave an exercise demonstration at the Myrtleford International Festival. The event was sponsored by the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth).
