Memorabilia - Bayonet fixed into marble block, The Long Tan Bayonet
A relic of the battlefield, this Long Tan bayonet memorial was presented to the Vietnam Veterans memorial lodge 921. In memory of National serviceman, Lt Gordon Sharp with the 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment who died in the battle of Long Tan on 18th August 1966.White marble cube with bayonet in its scabbard fixed into the top of it.
