After opening its first store in Sydney 1838, David Jones expanded its operations into Victoria in the 1960s and acquired this Buckley & Nunn store in Bourke Street in 1982. In 1987 it purchased the former G J Coles building on the other side of Bourke Street.Yields information about the Buckley and Nunn department store.
