This document records in detail with Names, the contribution of Officers of the Crown in the early stages of the settlement of Australia. Starting in 1787 their contributions were significant with most occupying positions as State Surveyors General and eventually contributing to the formation of the Australian Intelligence Corps in 1907, a survey section within the Australian Engineers 1910 and eventually the Australian Survey Corps in 1915.
