The first from the Australian Broadcasting Commission dated 2nd February, 1954 requesting Misses Gertrude Perry and Valda Young to attend Broadcast House at 11.30 am on Wednesday, February 17th, 1954 for an audition. The second also from the ABC dated March 4th, 1954 advising Miss Perry that the test was successful and that her name was added to their list of artists for future engagement.
