1937 British Pattern web equipment was commonly on issue to Commonwealth forces including Australia up to the 1970's. Australian military forces changed colour from green blanco to black paint in the early 1960's.1937 pattern webbing belt with natural brass buckles and keepers. Copy of a Country Fire Authority Report of Fire or Alarm No 65, dated March 1973 when the fire brigade was called to a fire at a disused weighbridge in Daly St, Long Gully. When the brigade arrived the weighbridge with its contents were completely burnt out. The Council used it for a storeroom. Firemen who attended were: S Knight, F Gannaway, W Waight, G Ellis, M Ellis, R Wee-Hee, R Delves, B Brooks, R Boland and E Carruthers. This photograph was taken at Riverview Farm, Victoria on Sunday the 5th of September as part of a day trip by the Wooragee Landcare Group. The event was about looking at land use on small farms and as a social get-together for the Group. Wooragee was also researching how small landholders could run some enterprises around the time of the trip. This photograph includes Julius Holt, Graeme Missen, Peter and Lesley Finedon, Sue Brunskill, Jacky Luisi, Bonnie Payne, Bob and Christine Stewart, Oliver Payne, and Gerri Boland. Wooragee Landcare Group was created in 1988.
