The St Peter Chapel opened in 1917. Funding came primarily from the Ladies Harbour Lights Guild. The artwork "And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter" was donated by Mr R. Stewart Murray in 1940. The procession cross was donated by the Ballarat Branch of the Harbour Lights Guild in 1958 helping dating the photograph to post 1958.St Peter the Mariner's Chapel is ..... by the relationship with the Anglican Church.
