His father was Nicholas Walter Frogley, also a builder; in 1909 electoral roll is listed as resident at St John's Avenue, Surrey Hills. W S Frogley had 2 sons: John Alfred (1936-2005 - died on the Gold Coast) and Ian Stephen (1940-2013). Evidence for John Alfred Frogley: 1. Listed on the Knoll-Jackel Australian Biographical History Project (which traces people of Germanic descent) as married to Carolyn Rose Schultz. 2. The selection of subject matter reflects the priorities of the period. The colour of some slides has degraded.The slides represent a snapshot in time of built architecture in Kew, much of which has changed in the forty-plus period since they were created.Colour positive transparency (slide) of 'Ramornie' in Pakington Street , Kew in 1979. Ramornie was built for the Scottish solicitor, James Maitland Campbell. He employed his brother William M. Campbell as architect, and N. W. Frogley of Prahran as builder. Campbell was Mayor of Kew on three occasions. The house was built during his first tenure of the mayoral office. After a succession of tenants and owners in the 20th century, Ramornie became known as ‘The Towers’, and was converted into a boarding house.
