Series consists of one folder of photographs relating to Art in Public Places awards. The folder is divided into two parts: I) Presentation and Installation - 1992 Award. Colour prints featuring Shire President Pamela Sladden opening "The Tower" at Weir St Park, Montmorency. Also pictured are Shire Arts officers Caroline Shaw and Chris Marks. These falls are located on the Marysville-Wood's Point Road. Cambarville is notable for its giant mountain ash (Eucalyptus regnans) trees within the Cumberland Memorial Scenic Reserve, and relics from former sawmills and gold mining. The Big Culvert is located nearby on the Marysville - Woods Point Road, which was historically part of the Yarra Track. Cambarville was established as a timber mill town in the 1940s. Timber mill owners A Cameron and FJ Barton named Cambarville. They established the mill to salvage timber from trees destroyed in the 1939 bushfires. Cambarville was impacted by the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires and any remaining structures were destroyed. Lady Talbot Drive is named after Lady Sarah Elizabeth, the wife of Sir Reginald Talbot, who was the Governor of Victoria from 25th April, 1904 to 6th July 1908. It was, at one stage, known to be the tallest hardwood tree in the world standing at 92 meters (301ft, 6 inches). However, it was reduced to 84 meters by a wind storm in 1959. It is a mountain ash. 'Hepburn Pool is a forgotten treasure which many visitors to Hepburn Springs would never be aware of. The owners of the Bellinzona Grange hotel explained that it was once the hotel pool and was built in the 1930's. You can find it behind this hotel, downhill at a street called The Pool Way. Steps and a ramp continue down to the pool itself and the secluded park around it. It was built into Spring Creek and became a competition pool for state swimming championships. A concrete weir separates a shallow children's pool from the main pool. You can still see the numbers of each lane painted on the walls at the deep end. There are plenty of seats and a barbeque area. A sign says this is a sacred aboriginal spot and you can certainly feel something magical about the place. I wouldn't suggest swimming in the former pool, it looks rather murky now.' We are saving/ the Eildon Weir trip to do on our way/ home. I took the girls horse riding and/ for an hour I walked behind and had to/ hit the horses on the rump to make them move./ 7/6 an hour each too.
