The Company of Master Mariners continues a regular association with the Mission to Seafarers regularly holding events and meetings on the premises.The Port of Melbourne insignia on this desk lectern may well be replaced in subsequent decades. The desk is used for presentations at many events.Wood cabinetry desk lectern with sloped reading surface and bearing two wooden shield mounted insignia, one above the other. Uppermost Insignia a) features a crest supported by 2 flanking seahorses and shield with victorian flag and 2 enamelled ribbons with inscription.
