The Ballarat Catholic Young Men's Society was established on 01 August 1892. This is the organisation's first minute book. Rev. Dr Delaney advocated for the formation of the Ballarat Catholic Young Men's Society. Curtin and Scullin became members of this organisation, and it is where they learnt to debate. William White was one of the founders of the Hibernian Society. 09 August 1893 - Richard Sutton provided a piano for recital by Mr Bailey. Brown hard covered minute book with red spine. Liaison Letters to inform all members / Staff / Sections of current information and practices. The object of these letters, which it is to be proposed quarterly, is to enable members of the Corps to stimulate interest in the progress of the work as a whole. It is also intended as a means to invite helpful criticism and suggestions for improvements in methods in any branch of the work. All members of the Corps are invited to contribute. Their suggestion should be forwarded to the O.C. section for transmission to O, C. Survey Corps and, if considered of sufficient merit, will be included in the next letter. It may often happen that a method, that may appear obvious and of little consequence to a member or Section using it, may not be followed by the others.
