One of the three locals who started the Port Colts Football Club in 1957, John is seen wearing his father's war medals. Note: the spelling of the BERTI surname was his birth name but was changed to BERTIE during WW2. The family has now reverted to the original spelling.Colour photograph is of the John 'Cobba' BERTI with his wife Pat BERTI and Nott Street resident, Kevin 'Cabs' PALMER.
