Scanned from a 4 x 5 inch colour transparency which was taken c.1970 (approx. 50 years old) and which has undergone significant colour degradation towards the red spectrum. Allowances made for colour cast correction in scan with best guess for white balance. The Shire of Eltham was a Local Government Area located about 25 kilometres northeast of Melbourne. Alan Money and Jeannie James started the Muse, an intimate theatre in Prahran in the 1950s, and a children's theatre. They lived in Kangaroo Ground, where Neil Douglas visited where they were burnt out in 1962. They found a house in Eltham by Margo Knox. Jeannie James was exhibiting paintings at Montsalvat.
