On November 11, 1997 the TDK Australian Audio Book Awards were presented at the National Library in Canberra. Louis Braille Books won the Trish Trinick Prize for the Best Narrator with "The Fiftieth Gate" by Mark Raphael Baker, narrated by James Wright.
