Five drama groups from Leslie manor, Camperdown, Portland, Warrnambool, Cobden and Portland staged pone act plays with the best performance being awarded a prize of Ten Guineas.This program is of interest as an example of the drama performances held in the Western District in the mid 20th century .This is an A4 sheet of cream coloured thick paper folded in two to make four pages. The pages contain black printing. This is a programme for a concert put on by the Warrnambool High School students in 1927. The concert included choral items, folk dancing, a gymnasium display and two one-act plays. Warrnambool High School was established in 1907 and merged with Warrnambool North Technical School in the 1990s to form Warrnambool College. One of the performers in this concert was the Head Teacher of Warrnambool High School, Colonel George Langley. This programme is of interest as an example of the entertainment offered in Warrnambool in the 1920s by a local group. This is a one-page pink sheet of paper with black printing.
