The main gate to the former Gaol is a monumental work. The arch keystone facing Lydiard Street is beautifully executed. The gates and the iron lacework over the top are distinctive.The arch under the flyover is also distinctive; the basalt keystone appears to have been cut from one single block of stone. Most of the gaol has been demolished to allow the School of Mines Ballarat to expand onto the site. The remaining structures at the site include the main gate, warden's residence and governor's residence. Circa 19th century. A pair of child's mid-brown leather leggings that extended over the child's knee. The leggings are lined with a soft napped fabric. They button-up down the outside of each leg, with leather covered buttons. An elastic strip is attached to the bottom of each legging and this passes under the child's boot and is buckled up to keep the legging in place.Circa 19th century. One of the last houses to face demolition.Single fronted weatherboard with striped veranda blind, brick chimney over front rooms with TV aerial. Green painted walls. Red painted iron roof over veranda and under veranda rail. Adjacent to Target entrance.The 'Miss Stayput' house in the car park out the front of Target in Camberwell. You can even see the Target logo on the building. The house was owned by Mary Campigli, who defied the council order to move, and won her case in court. She stayed in the house, surrounded by a car park until she died in 1983 at the age of 94. The house was finally demolished soon after.

Vietnam Logistic and Support Medal: The VSLM was established in 1993, and awarded for one or more of service in support of the Australian Armed Forces in operations in Vietnam from 29th May 1964 to 27th January 1973. Civilian surgical and medical teams and other civilian groups who served in Vietnam under Government Jurisdiction, crew members of ships or aircraft; those attached to , or serving with, an Australian or Allied Unit as an observer were eligible.
