Vincent Michael Gervasoni was the son of John Gervasoni and Catherine Cugley of 'Pine View' Yandoit Creek. John Gervasoni's father, Luigi Gervasoni, was born at San Gallo, Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. The Jetty first built in 1870 connected Cowes to Crib Point. The service for mail, provisions and visitors from the mainland.
