The main body of the badge has been shaped from one piece of brass.Attached to the centre of the badge is a central boss made from a circular piece of brass. Item belonged to Robert James Tibbett No 148003 90th Operational Base unit R.A.A.F. He enlisted on 22.3.44 in the RAAF age 22 years. At discharge he held the rank of LAC at Central Flying School on 18.3.46. Refer 489.Carved wooden propeller, stained made from 2 different woods pressed together, dark & light. Base is the same. On face of propellor is an "RAAF" badge on a round piece of stained wood,military history - souvenirs, numismatics - badges - military - raaf, metalcraft
