This jacket is part of a Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps uniform. The Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps (RAAOC) is responsible for various logistics and organisational operations, such as maintenance of parachutes, fuel distribution, personnel administration, exlosive disposal and laundy operations. The jacket was manufactured in 1968 and was worn by an unknown RAAOC serviceman. The patches on his sleeves denote that he had earned qualifications as a parachuter and a marksman and that he was a Warrant Officer 1. Due to the period of manufacture it can be presumed that the serviceman whom this uniform belonged to served Vietnam War.As an historic military uniform dating to 1968, it is presumed that this item would have been used in service during the Vietnam War. The wearer of the uniform is unknown, however the patches and flashes attached signify that the serviceman worked for the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps, earned qualifications as a parachuter and marksman and ranked highly as a Warrant Officer 1. The item is representative of a type of uniform worn by high ranking RAAOC servicemen during the 1960’s. It is also in very good condition for its age.A khaki coloured waist length jacket which is composed of a heavy fabric. The jacket fastens with five buttons down the front and a buckle. The buttons are composed of brown plastic and the buckle is a dark grey metal. The buckle is attached to a waistband on the right-hand side which loops around to a strip of fabric on the left-hand side which passes through the buckle. There are two breast pockets, one on each side of the chest. The right breast pocket is fastened with a brown plastic button and the left breast pocket is missing its button. Each pocket has a flap of fabric which covers the button area. The jacket has a collar and an epaulette on each shoulder which are each fastened with one brown plastic button. There is a ribbon of fabric on the interior of the collar with no inscriptions. There are identical crescent shaped red patches on each shoulder, each showing the words in navy blue stitching "Royal Australian Army Ordinance Corps". The upper right sleeve has a khaki coloured parachuting qualification patch, which depicts an air balloon in white stitching, with wings on either side in light blue stitching. The lower section of each sleeve has a Warrant Officer First Class khaki coloured patch. This depicts a shield in red, black, white, blue and gold stitching in the centre which sits beneath a gold and blue striped line and a gold star. There is a gold kangaroo to the left of these motifs and a gold emu to the right. Beneath these motifs there is a ribbon in white, blue and gold stitching with the word "Australia". In addition there are curvilinear green decorative elements with yellow flowers on their ends. The left-hand sleeve also has a brown marksmen qualification patch. This depicts two crossed rifles in white and brown stitching. There is a white label with printed inscriptions on the interior of the left breast pocket. There is also a band of fabric on the interior back waist band which has three button holes.Printed in black inscriptions on the white label: E.W. PTY/LTD. These two cards have been sent In 1929 by two early Warrnambool amateur radio persons to William (Bill) Douglas, an amateur radio person with the call sign, VK3GA. The cards are QSL cards, sent as a result of radio contacts being made between two amateur radio persons. Bill Douglas (1898-1986) was a Victorian schoolteacher who was the first licensed amateur radio person in the Otway Ranges district. He was licensed in January 1929 and these cards refer to radio contacts in the July of that year. The cards do not feature the call signs of the contacts but were standard cards used by amateur radio people who did not have personalised cards at the time,. One card was sent by J.F. Anderson (VK3WN) whose address at the time was 100 Foster Street, Warrnambool. He was possibly connected to the family of James and Jane Anderson who lived for some time in Foster Street but later went farming in the Nullawarre district. The other card was sent by W. Brown of 23 Mackay Crescent South Warrnambool (call sign unknown). No information has been found on this person.These two cards are of some importance as they are very early examples of amateur radio operations in Warrnambool. .1 A rectangular card, very faded and torn at edges. This is believed to be a figurine of Queen Victoria. Staffordshire pottery began to be produced in the 1840s, at the beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria, and the Queen and her family were popular subjects for depiction in pottery.Painted ceramic figurine of a woman holding a baby. The woman is wearing a dark blue dress with gold lapels and a white frilled collar, and a decorative gold pattern at the hem. The woman is also wearing a white bonnet with gold bow at the top and a red flower at the front, white gloves, and yellow slippers. The woman has short, dark coloured hair visible beneath the bonnet, and rosy cheeks. She is seated on a stool and cushion, and is holding a baby on her knee. The baby is dressed in a long white gown, with a hood. Sticker beneath the base of the statue carries the handwritten number '44'.

She was a Fellow of the College, and was appointed a Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (CMG) for services to medicine in 1975. Paper certificate registering Dr Margaret Alison Mackie as a doctor. Issued by the Medical Board of Victoria, the certificate lists Dr Mackie's certificate number, residential address, and qualification, and is affixed with a red wax seal at bottom left. A haemacytometer is an instrument used to count blood cells. It is commonly applied to a combination of counting chambers with cover glasses and has pipettes for red and white blood cells. This haemacytometer was manufactured by Ernst Leitz's factory in Metzlar, Germany. This company grew to be come what is now Leica. Haemacytometer in brown leatherette case. Consists of two glass pipettes with attached red rubber tubing, a glass microscope slide, and three small plastic square slide accessories. The base of the case is cut out and lined with felt to accommodate the parts of the object. Top of the case is inlaid with gold coloured text which reads 'Haemacytometer/Breuer/E.Leitz/Wetzlar'. Glass slide is engraved with the text 'E.Leitz/Wetzlar' and scale measurements. Glass pipettes are printed with the text 'E. LEITZ, WETZLAR'.pathology

It is likely this item was received from the estate of John 'Jack' Courier. Courier left a bequest to the College consisting of a significant number of artworks by himself and others.Abstract oil painting on board, consisting of multicoloured geometric shapes. There are red and yellow shapes at centre, surrounded by blue and green shapes, suggesting an image of a cliff at the seaside. Back of board contains handwritten text which reads 'Title RED CLIFF/Price $200/Artist JOHN COURIER/368 TOORAK RD/STH YARRA/W49/IPEC'. The letters 'JAA' enclosed in a circle are also written on the back of the work. Small D-ring fittings are attached to the back of the work for hanging.

This is Albert Smith's modification of a Hodges pessary. Uterine and anal pessaries were in use from the early 1900s onwards. The shape and style of pessaries varied with the introduction of new O & G techniques, and the materials they were made from varied with the maker. The Hodges-Smith pessary was usually hand made and was in demand as an intra-uterine device in the 1960s. Printed brochure of consumer product information is included with tablets, and a reply paid note addressed to the Associate Business Manager of Upjohn.

A handwritten 'X' appears next to the first size on the list. Bottom of box is printed with a size for this pessary - 'NO. 992/PESSARY/O.D. 2 1/2 INCHES SIZE 2'. Side of box printed with the text 'Smooth Sanitary Surface/MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'. The top of the box has been torn off and is missing.gynaecology

Red rubber catheter consisting of a length of red rubber tubing. One end of catheter is open and flared. This end of the catheter is printed with the text '6W' and '11 m/m' adjacent to the opening. Catheter ends in a rounded point at the other end. There are two staggered eyelets on alternate sides of the catheter at the closed end.
