Tickets were bundled by the printer in sets of 1000 and issued to each depot Revenue Office clerks for distribution to the Conductors. These tickets comprise 30c City Section (green printing on off-white paper) and 50c (purple printing on off-white paper) tickets with numbers printed in black. Has a printer's reference number and year in the bottom right hand - 1892-56. Not known if this was for use on the last section of tramway route prior to closure - further research required. Photograph shows 23 men standing and sitting in rows facing the camera with the brick wall and barred window of the Brunswick car house (depot) administration building behind. Three men are dressed in suits, ties and hats and the remaining 20 are in full tramway (MTOC or interim Tramway Board) uniform with caps, some wearing the large pins used by conductors. As the MTOC only provided full uniforms to its traffic staff from 1901, the photograph can be dated between 1901 and the early 1920s, when the new Tramways Board (M&MTB) supplied a different uniform and cap. Two of the men in suits are the line manager and revenue clerk. There are many similar staff photos from this era which suggests they were initiated by MTOC. Wooden Wax Sealing stamp - wood handle with a small brass stamp with the letters "R.Ty." and "I" or "1" underneath.
