The leather headstall is connected to the metal bit are used in conjunction with a set of leather reins to guide and steer a horse or other similar animal. Made in Melbourne in 1900.The horse bridle and headstall were used in Warrnambool in the early 20th century. Bridle bit and headstall; horizontal metal oval shaped bit with a narrow rod each end that finishes in a narrow loop.
