Archibald G. Campbell completed a four year course in horticultural training at the Royal Horticultural School in 1898. He later lectured at the School. He married Amy Dethridge (1903). The School building, approached by turning right from the entrance, was built in 1884 (check this) as a Pavilion for the Royal Horticultural Society of Victoria which society established the Horticultural Gardens in 1863. Reference to Rural Training in 1957 would have been mainly to the on-farm training phase of the Rural Reconstruction Training Scheme. The Agricultural Collegians Association members had a meeting point at the exhibit. Burnley ex-students were not members of that association."Black and white photograph.
