The Australian Women's Weekly, founded in 1933, has been Australia's top selling magazine for most of the time since its inception. This issue had as its feature article the wedding between the then Princess Elizabeth (later Elizabeth II) and Lieutenant Mountbatten (later Prince Phillip).
