Tram 14 was a small green and cream single truck tram operated by one person. Entry was by the narrow door at the driver's end of the tram. People would pay their fare to the driver. There was no conductor. Pink advertisement for the Bendigo Bank was on the side. The tram is photographed outside the Shed at the Ballarat Tramway Museum. Tram body was built in 1915 for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust. Sold to the Melbourne Electric Supply Co. Ltd. in 1927 and ran in Geelong. Transferred by the State Electricity Commission to Ballarat in 1936. It was the last tram to be overhauled by the SEC. Pamphlet advertising the sale of land at the "Camberwell Panorama Estate" - Doncaster and Bulleen Road 13-10-1923. Gives terms of sale, photos showing the views and a nearby shopping centre. Has a large photo of MMTB No. 20 on the front cover. The tramcar is of the Hawthorn Tramways Trust four-door bogie type. MMTB No 20 was an ex-Prahran and Malvern single trucker or small tram A class. Gives details of the 110 lots to be sold, terms, location, and that the tram was proposed to be extended to the corner. This extension took place in 1937. The Point Ormond line closed on 22/10/1960. This is a small commercially made tram model. Its design appears to be very loosely based on a Melbourne W Class tram design. The motorman’s cabin is realistic, but the body with its centre doorway does not look like any known tram designs. The wheels and their arrangement at the very ends of the tram are not realistic at all. No details of the maker, or where or when the model was made.
