The Methodist Girls' Comradeship was formed in 1918 with the first Branch being in Bondi, NSW. Cliff Beauglehole was an orchardist at Portland, Victoria, who throughout hislife took an intense interest in the plants of Victoria. Rather cold/ in the mornings, as the house has no central/ heating. The meals are everything to be desired/ and plenty of it. Yesterday lunch time Margaret/ had three servings of sweets and was coming/ up for one more before I stopped her. We played/ in the snow on Lake Mountain and were/ taken to Steavensons Falls. We are saving/ the Eildon Weir trip to do on our way/ home. I took the girls horse riding and/ for an hour I walked behind and had to/ hit the horses on the rump to make them move./ 7/6 an hour each too.
