The Teenager, His Family and His Peers was a paper presented to the 1968 Federal Conference of the Legacy Clubs of Australia by Legatee John Hall of Melbourne Legacy (held in Ballarat from 7th to 10th November 1968). By resolution of the Conference it was printed by Legacy Co-ordinating Council for distribution upon their request to Legacy Clubs. It was stored with another paper presented at the 1968 Conference 'The Fundamentals of Legacy' which had the notation H51 in blue pen to show that it was part of the archive project that was trying to capture the history of Legacy. In January 1992, an International Youth Forum on arthritis was held in Perth. The camp was for anyone who has arthritis and is between the ages of 12 and 25. Participants were from countries such as Malaysia and New Zealand as well as from different parts of Australia. This photo appears on pages 1 (the cover) and 5 of the Vol 5 No 1, Autumn 1992 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. It accompanies an article titled, "INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM". The Frank family's hiding place at Prinsengracht 263 Amsterdam, is a much visited museum. Translations, plays and movies have followed the diary's publication. Travelling exhibitions have included one in the Melbourne Jewish Museum. The diary is often used as teaching material in secondary schools.A 269p. soft cover edition of this famous WWII diary of a Jewish teenager in hiding. Apart from the text it contains a number of photos of Anne in the pre-war years. These had not yet been published in the earlier editions (see Item 4533).
