Set of four colour prints of W5 class trams: 1 - W5 727 after the centre door has been filled in, with the blinds remaining. Tram has been repainted and yet to be fitted with (fitted 10/1971) and is over the outdoor inspection pit. 2 - W5 751, route 82 at Moonee Ponds Junction - photo date stamp Jan. 1965, has adverts for Ferris car radios, and "Wanted Dead Musca Domestica" (house fly) adverts. In the background is a Caltex Service Station. 3 - W5 767 St Georges Road route 9, with adverts for Phillips, J&B Scotch and Peck's food paste. Head an tail lights are yet to be fitted. 4 - W5 781, St Georges Road route 9 after the fitting of head and tail lights in Oct. 1971. The photograph, by an MMTB photographer, shows W7 1012 and AEC Mark VI bus No. 751. The photo appeared on the front page of MMTB News March 1965 (Vol 2, No. 3). The bus was new at the time. Item 4614 shows this bus in storage by April 1983.
