Set of four colour prints of W5 class trams:
1 - W5 class No 727 after conversion to two door weather blind configuration in 1969. Tram has been repainted but yet to be fitted with marker lights (fitted 10/1971) and is over the outdoor inspection pit at Preston Workshops.
2 - W5 class no 751, route 82 at Moonee Ponds Junction - photo date stamp Jan. 1965, The car has a sliding door car windscreen fitted with half drop windows. has adverts for Ferris car radios, and "Wanted Dead Musca Domestica" (house fly) adverts. In the background is a Caltex Service Station.
3 - W5 767 St Georges Road route 9, with adverts for Phillips, J&B Scotch and Peck's food paste. Head an tail lights are yet to be fitted.
4 - W5 class No 781 St Georges Road route 9 after the fitting of head and tail lights in Oct. 1971. Has adverts a ASPRO and ROBO 2 min car wash in Preston.

Yields information about four different W5 class trams prior to conversion to SW5s.
