Trained as a cartographic draftsman within the mining industry, Margaret Picken is an artist who worked producing property illustrations for real estate agencies in eastern suburbs of Victoria from 1983-2005. Vicki is a Geelong-based visual artist whose practice spans murals, painting, and soft felt sculpture. She creates both large and small-scale murals throughout Geelong and surrounding districts, often drawing on themes of community and social connection. Working from her central Geelong studio, Pip-Squeak-Art, she produces commissioned pet portraits and exhibition pieces, alongside sculptural works crafted from wool. Her socially motivated approach is especially visible in her street-scape paintings, which appear in both her canvas work and public murals. Vicki also does conservation work on the City’s much loved bollards. Commissioned for the City of Greater Geelong 2025 Christmas program. The painting was reproduced as mural on a carousel. noombapee is an etching and lithograph by Gunditjmara and Keerray Woorroong artist Vicki Couzens. Couzens is a multi-disciplinary artist focused on strengthening her language and culture through research and creative projects. noombapee was created during a 2018 Collie Print Trust Printmaking Fellowship at the Australian Print Workshop. The work is an example of Couzens’ reclamation and celebration of Indigenous languages. The title is a Gunditjmara term which approximately translates to ‘have mercy’ or ‘forgiveness’. The word ‘noombapee’ appears multiple times in the lower right corner of the composition. The left side of the work includes a letter to the editor of the Warnambool Standard, dated 3 April 1940 and authored by Vicki’s ngapoon (paternal grandfather), Nicholas Couzens. Couzens explains that ‘he was an activist and advocate for our rights living on the Framlingham mission.’

A community group project steered by Bambi McLean led to the construction of the Eltham North Adventure Playground which opened off Wattletree Road in 1995. The structure was mainly wooden and included an undercover element with slides and areas to climb. It was destroyed by fire in the early hours of 16 December 2017. These phtoos of the aftermath were taken at approx. 6:45am in the morning by Vicki Ward, MP for Eltham A new adventure playground was built in 2018. There are bands applied to outside shoulder of the cape on both sides and constructed with a centre back seam. The cape was worn outside the hospital when walking from accommodation. The accompanying documents are a photo of the original owner and donator of the cape, Vicki Simpkins, and a photo of the graduation group of nurses, 1972, in which Vicki is indicated.There is a white cotton label at rear inside centre collar with 'PURE WOOL' printed in blue and 'W' printed in red.
