Painting - Acrylic on Paper, Vicki Clissold, Catch It, 2025

Artists statement

Vicki is a Geelong-based visual artist whose practice spans murals, painting, and soft felt sculpture. She creates both large and small-scale murals throughout Geelong and surrounding districts, often drawing on themes of community and social connection. Working from her central Geelong studio, Pip-Squeak-Art, she produces commissioned pet portraits and exhibition pieces, alongside sculptural works crafted from wool. Her socially motivated approach is especially visible in her street-scape paintings, which appear in both her canvas work and public murals. Vicki also does conservation work on the City’s much loved bollards.

Historical information

Commissioned for the City of Greater Geelong 2025 Christmas program. The painting was reproduced as mural on a carousel.
