About

The City of Greater Geelong municipal collection contains artworks, artefacts and mixed media works representing the pre-amalgamation Councils of Bellarine, Corio, Geelong, Geelong West, Newtown, South Barwon and Barrabool.

The amalgamation in 1993 to the City of Greater Geelong brought together each Council's significant collection, with pieces dating from the mid-19th century to the present day.
