This record was released on the 40th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and contains twenty songs that were popular during the period, especially with serving troops. Pair of commemorative leadlight and stained-glass windows fitted in the stairwell of Leongatha Memorial Hall. The scene, which extends across both windows, features five people representing each of the armed forces standing on a cliff in the foreground overlooking the sea. In the first window (1939), a tank on land, a ship in the sea and two planes in the sky represent the beginning of the war. The clouds in this window are large, dark and ominous. In the second window (1945), a small boy wearing a hat and shirts stands separate from the group of servicepeople, he holds a teddy in one hand and waves an Australian flag in the other.
