Coronet was first popular- class camera released in 1961 as distinct from the high and expensive class.Canon Canonet 35mm camera with light meter around and Cannon Lens SE,45mm,1.19. Made by Canon Camera co Inc. speed B(bulb) to one 500th for a second (11 settings), auto made and 'f' setting from 1.9 to 16. Self timer. Camera has a steel base with a satin chrome finish and a leatherette band around camera. Rewind lever and film forward lever on back.Camera has leather carry case in two pieces and strap. Equipment - Camera, 1954 - 1965
Between 1954 =- 1965 thousands of these cameras were made. This contributed to the recovery of Germany after World War 2Agfa Clack Camera in green plastic case. It is a bulky looking moulded plastic camera using 120 roll film. The enclosure holding the film is made of steel and is held to the main body by a large rotated key at bottom. The exposure counter is on the lower back. The camera takes eight 6cm x 9cm photos on the 120- film.|a small view finder is fitted on the top of the camera. It has two speeds B (bulb( for long exposures and M for standard photos. Speed is approx 1/30 second with two aperture settings - f11 = overcast; and f12.5 = sun. Superfex Camera - made of plastic with a Fexar Spec Optic made by Fritz Kaftanski. Originally made in Prague in Czechosovakia from 1938 - 1942. This camera was made in Lyon, France in 1942 after Company moved from Prague. This is shown on the lower right front of the camera. The back is removable using the two clips on each side. Provisions made for two spools - one blank, the other for the 127 film role. Shutter button on top front of camera. M & B lever for exposure settings is on the side. Haminex C Flashgun (code 14-009) in its original box. The flash Gun uses Flash Cubes (no sample) and can be fitted to camera via together with a short cord and plug to connect to the camera shutter. It has a exposure table for distance and film speed, and a lever to turn the cube around to one of its four surfaces. Kodak Retina 1a 35mm bellows camera with extending bellows, in a leather case (.02) and an Instruction book (in German .03). The camera has a chrome trim with leatherette over the rest of the steel forming the body of the camera. It has a Retina Xenar F 2.8/50mm, Schneider - Kreuznach 2668277 lens covering speeds from B (bulb) to 1/500th of a second and an aperture opening of f2.8 to f16. Provision for a hot flash and various film speeds. Film advance lever with indicator showing number of photos taken. An old cartridge (.04) is loaded in the camera. Functional object - Slide/Film Strip Projector, c1960
The donor received the projector from a relative. He used it in the City of Whitehorse and surrounding areasWaterworth Slide Film Strip Projector, Model A - 300 watt, without a fan but with ventilating slots on top and an open bottom for air to flow. It has a carrying handle and a power lead with 3 pin plug which is wired in permanently. The projector lamp is at rear under the carrying handle. Image is projected through three stage lens via via the image on the 35mm strip or slide. The front lens is adjustable for focus. A knurled nut enables a height adjustment at front. Slides are inserted through the holder - whilst one slide is shown the other can be loaded ready to be slid in front of the light. The film strip holder is missing. The unit is finished in a grey hammer finish paint used in 1960 t0 1980s. The operating instructions are filed in the supplementary envelope.
