... WILLIAMS Roma Rob's Cycles Blackburn A recording of an oral history on the Elmore houses and the Elmore Sawmill in Blackburn / Laburnum in the 1950-60's. The history is provided by Andrew Scott in an interview with Giselda Bannister on 29 April 2026. Andrew lived next to the Elmore Sawmill in an Elmore built house. Ther history includes descriptions of the Blackburn shops ...AJ Elmore had had built a house and set up a workshop by 1916. His houses were built in Arts and Crafts 'fresh air' style using local hardwood. A recording of an oral history on the Elmore houses and the Elmore Sawmill in Blackburn / Laburnum in the 1950-60's. The history is provided by Andrew Scott in an interview with Giselda Bannister on 29 April 2026. Andrew lived next to the Elmore Sawmill in an Elmore built house.
