At the time, Barbara Stokes was a senior physiotherapist at the Ottawa Arthritis Society. The seminar garnered great interest, with over sixty physiotherapists from as far Nhill in the northwest of Victoria and Morwell in the south of the state attending. Some attendees also hailed from interstate. The event also helped to highlight the important role of RAAV in the community.
