Spectacles (pair)

Physical description

Set of spectacles in a metal and black leather case. Spectacles have metal frames with round lenses. It was owned by L/BDR J. Woodhouse 1456221 (British Artillery). The spectacle frame was designed for ordinary use and for use when wearing a respirator. The small round lenses fitted inside eye pieces and the flat sidearms fitted underneath the rubber sides of the respirator. Issued in November, 1942.
