Physical description

A souvenir cloth from Egypt, WW1. It is a red silk square cloth with brightly coloured silk embroidery. In the centre are the flags of Belgium, Russia, France, Australia and Britain. There are also embroidered date palms, a sphinx, pyramids and a bird carrying a letter.
