WW1 diary, notes and photographs of Private Herbert William Cripps. Covers the period from October 1916 until October 1919. Includes a list of "autographs" of participants collected by Cripps on the evening before the attack on St Quentin Canal. Cripps departed Melbourne onboard HMAT Nestor 2 October 1916, and returned to Australia in January 1919.
