Located in opportunity shop in Melbourne, where it was purchased for $2. The donor has considerable knowledge of chicken scratch embroidery (surface weaving on cross-stitch on gingham to emphasise colours). She considers this the best example of the art she has seen, with several very rare stitch combinations. It has been posted to experts overseas and in Australia for examination.
