Historical information
Diary covers the period from November 1942 to September 1944. Waters was executed by the Japanese in New Guinea in March 1945. The autograph book belonged to Waters mother (Maude), and records the appreciation of the service personnel who lodged at her residence in Bridge Street, Hampton.
