Thalia was the wife of Angelos Lucas (Lekatsas) who was very active in the Greek and Ithacan communities. Angelos was president of the Ithacan Philanthropic Society from 1924 - 1926 and president of Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria for three terms from 1930-32, 1934-40 and 1949-52.
